The
Post 5 American Legion Sports Complex has enabled the legion program to expand
its efforts to more youths than ever before. In addition to the AA
and AAA legion select teams, the program offers summer baseball leagues to
youths ages 9-14. After sign-up, an evaluation camp is held at the complex
and then the teams are chosen in a draft format. Each league has its own
commissioner and committee that discuss aspects of the league that will make it
a more positive and growing experience for all that participate.
